12 Days of Giving
During this season, we’re especially mindful of those that have unfulfilled basic needs, and we do what we can – collectively – to make a difference. This year, our 12 Days of Giving looks a bit like this:
- Deliver socks, underwear and gifts to an adopted family from the Salvation Army Angel Tree
- Deliver collected and donated canned goods to the Tarrant Area Food Bank
- Deliver donated towels to a local animal shelter
- Collect and deliver socks, gloves, scarves, hats and small gifts for seniors that visit the United Community Center
- Serve dinner at ACH Child & Family Services event
- Deliver new/gently used books to Cook Children’s Hospital
- TCCU Staff will spend the morning reading to young students at the Center for Transforming Lives
- Partner with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office to pass out gifts to Children of the Incarcerated at their annual event
- Deliver purchased coats and sweatshirts to the Alliance for Children
- Assemble Hope Bags for the homeless and distribute them during the month of December
- Collect and deliver socks and blankets for the Presbyterian Night Shelter
- Prep and deliver sandwiches for the Presbyterian Night Shelter
It brings us great joy!
