Courtesy Pay And Overdraft Protection

There are two options for Courtesy Pay

  • Option #1 – Courtesy Pay for checks and automated clearing house/electronic payments (ACH). Option #1 is automatic
  • Option #2 – Courtesy Pay for checks and automated clearing house/electronic (ACH) payments PLUS debit card and ATM transactions. You MUST opt-in for Option #2.

You may select either, or decline the service all together.  If you do not select an option, you will automatically be considered to have chosen Option #1. You may make your selection for Option 2 when logged into your account on eBanking.

 

Other Options for Overdraft Protection

Transfer Funds from Another TCCU Account
You can set up an automatic transfer from your other accounts with TCCU.  If a transaction is submitted against insufficient funds, the needed amount will transfer from your other account, including any fees, as available.  You may make this selection at account opening, or by contacting our member service department.  Overdrafts will be covered in this order:

  1. Transferred funds from your other account
  2. Courtesy Pay

 

Line of Credit
You may apply for a line of credit to be used as Overdraft Protection. Needed funds will be withdrawn to cover your transaction, from the available line. 

You will select the order that these options will be utilized.

  • Transfer from your other account
  • Available Line of Credit
  • Courtesy Pay
